Yemen crisis: PIA flight lands in Sanaa to evacuate 174 stranded Pakistanis
Pakistan Navy vessel will also reach al Hudeida city to evacuate 34 Pakistanis
A Pakistan International Airlines aircraft landed in Sanaa, the troubled capital of Yemen on Sunday to bring back another 174 stranded Pakistanis.
Further, Foreign Office spokesperson Tasnim Aslam said another Pakistan Navy vessel will also reach al Hudeida city on Sunday morning to evacuate 34 Pakistanis.

“All possible means are being utilised for early and safe evacuation of all stranded Pakistanis in Yemen,” Aslam said, according to Radio Pakistan.
A Pakistan Navy frigate, carrying 147 Pakistanis and 36 foreigners, sailed off from the Yemeni port city of al Mukalla on Saturday.

The vessel, PNS Aslat, is scheduled to dock at Karachi port on April 7.
'Negotiating Yemen crisis'
Brushing aside speculation regarding Pakistan’s role in the Yemen crisis, prime minister’s senior aide Sartaj Aziz said a final decision on how to move forward on the Yemen issue will be taken at the joint session of the Parliament tomorrow.
“Pakistan is trying its best to seek a negotiated settlement to the Yemen crisis,” Aziz said, according to Radio Pakistan.

“Despite all odds, we are continuing efforts to bring both the sides to negotiation table,” he added.
Aziz warned that any further escalation in the prevailing security situation in Yemen could destabilise the entire region, affecting the Muslims.
Briefing on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s visit to Turkey, Aziz said Pakistan have agreed to intensify efforts for a peaceful solution to the Yemen issue.
