Breach Of Trust: Case sought for bank account fraud

An additional district and sessions judge sought comments from the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) director in a petition seeking registration of case against four people for fraudulently operating an account. Petitioner Sheikh Hamid Afzal wants action against his three brothers and the manager of a bank branch, located on the Brandreth Road. “I had asked the bank to block the account. However, my brothers Jawad Afzal, Sajjad Afzal and Khalid Afzal continued operating my store’s account with the support of Chaudhry Waqas Safdar, the branch manager,” he said. He said the four had caused a huge loss to his business. He requested the court to direct the FIA director to register an FIR against them.
