Government of Sindh has imposed section 144 in Karachi due to security reasons, Express News reported.
Citing the security reasons, the Sindh interior ministry on Saturday evening issued a notification imposing section 144 in the city. The government has also imposed ban on the use of drone/quad copter cameras in the city.
According to the provincial interior ministry the steps have been taken on the request of federal interior ministry. The drone cameras could be use for the terrorist activities.
The ban is effective from April 1 and has been imposed for the indefinite period.
