Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar has started shooting for Prabhudheva's upcoming directorial venture Singh Is Bliing in Patiala.

The sequel to the 2008 blockbuster Singh Is Kinng, will once again have Akshay donning a turban. He will be sharing screen space with Lara Dutta and Amy Jackson.
The action-thriller, which is expected to release on October 2, will mark Prabhudheva and Akshay's second film together after Rowdy Rathore.

Meanwhile, Akshay will next be seen in Gabbar is Back. The action drama, which also stars Shruti Haasan, is set to hit cinemas on May 1.
