Land Dispute: Man sues DHA of demolishing his house
Around 25 other armed men had demolished the house on March 17

A court sought comments on Friday from police on a petition seeking registration of a case against the Defence Housing Authority’s (DHA) management for demolishing a petitioner’s house. Ghulam Hussain submitted he owned a property in Daiv Kalan village measuring four kanals and 10 marlas. He said DHA security in-charge Colonel Shujah, Major Kamran, security guards Allah Ditta and Nasir and around 25 other armed men had demolished the house on March 17. He said they had warned him against entering the property. He said he had requested the police to take action against the DHA management but they did not. He requested the court to direct the Nishtar Colony SHO to register an FIR against the DHA officials.
