Pakistan And Azerbaijan: Joint business council proposed
The MoU was signed in the presence of President Mamnoon Hussain

There is enormous potential in bilateral trade with Azerbaijan, especially in sectors like rice, textile, engineering, plastic, chemicals and agriculture products, said Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) Vice President Mohammad Waseem Vohra, who recently signed an MoU with Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce during his visit to Baku. The MoU was signed in the presence of President Mamnoon Hussain and the president of Azerbaijan. He further said that FPCCI with Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce will establish a Joint Business Council for the promotion of trade activities. “The government is giving due importance to Azerbaijan, this can be seen by the number of delegates that accompanied the president during the trip. They represented various sectors of Pakistan and attended many meetings,” he said.
