CDA seizes, destroys 500 litres of milk

Specially constituted teams of the Capital Development Authority directorates of municipal administration and health services on Thursday seized 500 litres of unhygienic and adulterated milk. Each team was also accompanied by a health inspector.
The teams were deputed at city’s major entry points to check the quality of milk being transported to city markets and began seizing substandard products. “Confiscated milk was destroyed on the spot,” said a statement issued by the CDA. Action has been taken against violators under the Pakistan Pure Food Ordinance.
