Weather-related accident: Woman dies as roof caves in
Khan’s wife who was present inside the room was trapped under the rubble.

A woman died after she was trapped under the debris of a collapsed roof in her house in Domail, Bannu on Thursday. A Domail police officer said the roof of a room in the house of Ghafar Khan in Margali Pirbakhel caved in. Khan’s wife who was present inside the room was trapped under the rubble. Neighbours and family members attempted to rescue her but by the time she was pulled out, she had died. The police officer said rain and hail had caused the shoddy structure to fall through.
