Actor in distress: Qureshi seeks whereabouts of Fakhri’s son
Foreign Minister has taken action on reports about son of senior actor who is missing in the United States since 2009.
ISLAMABAD:
Foreign Office spokesperson Abdul Basit said on Saturday that Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has taken action on reports about the son of a senior actor who is missing in the United States since 2009.
“I am confident that within a few days, the situation would become clear as special directives have been issued to trace the whereabouts of Ali Ayaz, son of Jameel Fakhari, to the Pakistan Consulate-General in New York and Pakistan’s embassy in Washington.”
Talking to a private news channel, he said that the foreign secretary has also talked with authorities concerned, and all out efforts are being made to uncover the truth.
