Slaughter house: Civic body awaiting Pak-EPA approval

The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has said that a slaughterhouse would be constructed in the city after approval of the Pakistan Environmental Protection Agency (Pak-EPA). CDA spokesperson Ramzan Sajid said that private slaughter houses and slaughtering on the open were affecting the city’s environment. He said the civic agency was awaiting nod from the Pak-EPA to undertake the project.
