Execution: Warrants received for murder convict
Ali had been sentenced to death by an anti-terrorism court
LAHORE:
Kot Lakhpat Central Jail on Saturday received death warrants for Zulfikhar Ali, convicted at the murder of three people in Barah Kahu area near Islamabad. A central jail official told The Express Tribune that all arrangements had been finalised for the hanging. “His family members have been informed about the last meeting,” he said. Ali had been sentenced to death by an anti-terrorism court and all his appeals and mercy plea were rejected by the Supreme Court of Pakistan and the president of Pakistan.
