Consumer court: ‘My customer threatened to kill me’

He said when he approached police, the SHO did not take him seriously.

An additional district and sessions judge on Saturday sought comments from the Harbanspura SHO on a petition seeking a case against a man for not paying for items he purchased and posing death threats when asked to pay up.

Petitioner Khurram Shehzad Khan said that on October 22, Amir Naeem bought electronic goods from him worth Rs200,000. He said Naeem didn’t pay Rs50,000, saying he would pay the remaining amount after a few days.


He said Naeem did not keep his promise. He said when he asked him to pay up, Naeem threatened to kill him. He said when he approached police, the SHO did not take him seriously. He asked the court to direct the SHO to register an FIR against him.
