The Sindh High Court has fixed April 2 as the date to formally frame contempt charges against a sub-registrar for allegedly violating the court’s order.
A division bench, headed by Justice Syed Hasan Azhar Rizvi, passed this order on a contempt plea filed by a group of residents from Garden East, who had filed a petition in 2007 against the civic agencies for their failure to stop illegal multi-storey constructions being raised in the vicinity of Mazar-e-Quaid.
