A full bench of Lahore High Court on Friday sought final arguments by March 31 on pleas seeking release of judicial inquiry report on the June 17 Model Town killings.
The bench was hearing several pleas filed by Minhajul Quran, a lawyer and others.
Advocate Azhar Siddique, said the inquiry by the LHC tribunal was partial as no representative of the aggrieved party appeared before it. He sought direction for constitution of a judicial commission in view of suggestions of the aggrieved party from judges of the apex court. He said the inquiry conducted by an LHC tribunal was vague and had failed to provide clarity. He requested the court to order the government to make public the findings of the inquiry tribunal under Article 19-A of the Constitution.
