Handle with care: Grenade blast kills scrap shop owner

Police registered an FIR of the incident.

Owner of a scrap shop was killed while his employee was injured when a hand grenade exploded in Kahi Kacha Pakka in Hangu on Friday. Saddar SHO Abid Afridi said Hafizullah, an Afghan refugee, and his employee Gul Rehman were pressing and baling scrap at the shop. Afridi added a hand grenade, which was concealed in the material being processed, exploded. Hafizullah died on the spot and Rehman was injured. He was rushed to District Headquarters Hospital, Hangu by locals. Police registered an FIR of the incident.
