Four policemen killed in targeted attack in Loralai

Two others sustained injuries

QUETTA: Four police personnel were killed and two others injured when their vehicle was attacked by unknown armed men in Loralai district of Balochistan on Thursday.

“Policemen in a mobile were going back after visiting the local magistrate when armed men opened fire at them in a remote area of Loralai,” Balochistan Home Secretary Akbar Durrani told The Express Tribune.

Four cops embraced martyrdom, whereas two others sustained injuries, added the home secretary.

The incident occurred in the B-area, within the jurisdiction of Balochistan Levies Force, some 100kms off Loralai city.

More troops and Levies officials were sent to the site after the incident.
