A murder convict was hanged in Multan's Central Jail early morning, Express News reported Tuesday.
Nasrullah was handed the death sentence for the murder of his brother's killer outside a court in Muzaffargarh in 1994.
Strict security measures were taken at the time of the hanging.

Several have been hanged across the country since the moratorium on capital punishment was lifted by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif at the end of last year.

The lifting of the moratorium came a day after Taliban gunmen attacked the Army Public School, killing 132 students and nine teachers in Peshawar in 2014. The slaughter had put pressure on the government to do more to tackle the militant insurgency.
