Wanted: LeI commander nailed in Badhber

Gul was arrested on the basis of an intelligence report, the statement said, adding that he was being interrogated.

PESHAWAR:
The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa police claimed on Monday arresting an important commander of banned militant group Lashker-e-Islam (LeI), Sahar Gul, in a raid on a house in the Badhaber area. An official statement claimed that Gul was involved in attacks on security forces in the tribal belt and was wanted to police and security forces. Gul was arrested on the basis of an intelligence report, the statement said, adding that he was being interrogated.
