Hangu ambush: FC man injured in check post attack
The injured soldier was taken to Hangu hospital and was now in a stable condition.
HANGU:
A Frontier Constabulary (FC) soldier was injured on Friday in an attack by unidentified militants on a check post in the Bagtu area of Hangu. The attack was carried out at 9am, according to SHO Khanullah Wazir of Hangu city police station. Wazir identified the injured FC soldier as Saqib Ali. The injured soldier was taken to Hangu hospital and was now in a stable condition. The same check post had been attacked some time earlier and a MOL Gas Company driver was injured. Several security forces’ check posts and police parties have been attacked in various areas of Hangu district from time to time by militants.
