Orders Issued: PPP Karachi president suspended

The suspension orders were issued by PPP Sindh secretary-general Taj Haider

KARACHI:
The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) suspended its Karachi division president, Qadir Patel, on Friday. The suspension orders were issued by PPP Sindh secretary-general Taj Haider on the directives of the party leadership. Earlier, the party had served a show-cause notice to Patel for his remarks against the leadership’s decisions pertaining to the alliance with the Muttahida Qaumi Movement and the allotment of tickets to Rehman Malik and others for the Senate elections. “Action has been taken against Patel following his failure to submit a reply to the show-cause notice,” said Waqar Mehdi, PPP information secretary.
