Sanitation problems: PK-4 elders call on WSSP officials to discuss issues

A jirga of elders from PK-4, Peshawar IV called on Water and Sanitation Services Peshawar (WSSP) officials and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf provincial secretary general Khalid Masood to discuss sanitation problems of the constituency’s residents.
While addressing the attendees, jirga organiser Wajid Khalil said most drainage lines in the area have cracked, flooding streets with stagnant water.
Khalil said it has led to problems for commuters and caused the outbreak of diseases amongst the locals.
Advocate Nasir Khan said the government should resume work on projects launched by the previous governments and also establish a commerce college for girls in PK-4. Officials assured the jirga members that their concerns will be addressed in the coming months.
