Unity in diversity: Religious leaders rap Youhanabad violence
The leaders said terrorism and barbarity had no religion.

Several religious leaders on Thursday condemned the March 15 Youhanabad attacks and lynchings at a meeting organised by the Pakistan Ulema Council.
PUC chairman Tahir Ashraf chaired the meeting. In a communiqué issued on Friday the leaders called on the government to arrest the perpetrators of the violence. The leaders said terrorism and barbarity had no religion. They urged citizens across the religious spectrum to remain peaceful. The leaders announced that the suicide Youhanabad attacks would be denounced in Friday sermons at mosques across the nation. They called on the government to secure religious places and ensure coordination between authorities and administration of religious places.
