Grenade kills three of a family in Swat

A man, his son and daughter-in-law were killed and two other members of his family were injured in a hand grenade blast in the Bishigram area of Madyan hill station on Tuesday.
According to the police, Zor Muhammad was working on a farm when he found a hand grenade. He mistook it for a toy. All his family members gathered around him when he brought it to the house.
Suddenly, the hand grenade went off in his hands, killing him, his son Jan Muhammad and daughter-in-law Shabina on the spot. Two other members of the family, Saddam and Saira, were critically injured in the blast and were taken to the Saidu Sharif Teaching Hospital.
Meanwhile, security forces claimed that they have foiled a terror bid by defusing a bomb weighing five kilograms in the Badar area of Telgram. According to the Manglawar police, security personnel defused the remote-controlled device after finding it in the fields of Badar.
