ISLAMABAD:
The body of a newborn was found from the emergency ward of Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) hospital on Monday in Islamabad.

According to PIMS spokesperson Dr Ayesha Isani, the body of the infant was found at 6:30am from a restroom.


She said that unidentified men had left the body, which was later handed over to police.

Reportedly, the deceased was not born at the hospital and was born just an hour or two before being dumped.

Police said they have started their investigation into the matter.
