SUKKUR: A woman was killed while two men were injured in a road accident on the national highway near Mirpur Mathelo Bypass on Sunday.
Sources said that Muneer Mashoori, a resident of the Kamal Mashoori village, his sister Suriya and cousin Muhammad Jaffar were heading back to the village on a motorcycle.
When they reached Mirpur Matelo Bypass, a truck coming from the opposite direction hit the motorcycle. Suriya died on the spot while Mashoori and Jaffar were injured and taken to Civil Hospital, Mirpur Mathelo.
The police have arrested the truck driver and impounded the vehicle.
