"Star Wars Episode VIII", the upcoming eight movie in the Star Wars franchise, has been locked for release on May 26, 2017, Walt Disney Studios has announced.

The studio also revealed at their annual shareholders meeting in San Francisco that Gareth Edwards’ upcoming standalone film, starring Felicity Jones, will be called “Rogue One".
Its shooting will begin in London this summer and it will release on December 16, 2016.
