RAWALPINDI: The Rawalpindi District Health Department has started the recruitment process to hire 52 Lady Health Visitors (LHVs), 52 Ayas and 52 Security Guards for 26 Basic Health Units (BHUs) being upgraded in Rawalpindi district to ensure provision of all possible medical facilities. Talking to APP, Executive District Officer (EDO) Health Dr Khalid Randahwa said a total 156 males and females were being recruited aimed at strengthening healthcare system in rural areas. Health facilities are being upgraded in the district and the patients from the first week of April would be provided round the clock health services, he added.
