Global recognition: Etisalat bags two GSMA awards
Etisalat won “The Best Use of Mobile for Retail, Brands & Commerce,”

Telecom operator Etisalat continued its winning streak this year in the telecommunication industry’s biggest event of the year – GSMA’s Global Mobile Awards. Etisalat bagged two awards in the GSMA 2015. Annual awards won by the company are now six in the last three years. According to a press release, Etisalat won “The Best Use of Mobile for Retail, Brands & Commerce,” category for its mobile cashier product offering and “The Mobile Connect Award for Best Authentication & Identity Solution” for Etisalat Mobile Connect Service. The winners were announced at a ceremony during the Mobile World Congress held in Barcelona, Spain. “It’s a tremendous honour to be at the most important event in the global telecoms calendar,” said Etisalat Group CEO Ahmad Julfar.
