PESHAWAR:
A former militant whose name was on the list of wanted terrorists with a head money of Rs500,000 surrendered to Mattani police on Wednesday night. Hazrat Ali, a resident of Adezai village, was an active member of TTP Adezai eight years ago but later left the outlawed group during the time when the government had announced general amnesty for those who lay down their arms. “He used to run a shop until yesterday,” said a police official, adding he surrendered to the police after learning about the head money.
