Deadly day: Three killed in Attock

At least three people were killed and several others were injured in separate incidents in different areas of Attock district on Wednesday.



Shehzad, 21, died in Rangu Tajik village after being hit in the head by a ball while playing cricket with friends.


Meanwhile, a man was killed and two others were seriously injured in a road accident in the Kala Chitta.


The police said Gul Khan, a resident of Peshawar, was driving with two friends, when he lost control on a sharp turn and drove into a ravine. Gul died on the spot while Zaman Khan and Farhan Khan were injured.


Separately, a woman was killed and several others were injured, when a speeding Bannu-bound coach, coming from Islamabad, overturned near Basal village on the Kohat-Rawalpindi road.


Uzma Bibi died on the spot, while several other passengers were injured. The police registered a case.
