Fashion Police: Celebs this week

Here are some Hollywood icons who suffered serious technique indiscretion this week

Got to say, sometimes even the most fashion-forward luminaries take a step backward. From sloppy trends to unkempt designs, we witnessed some style statements – but not the pleasant kind. Talking of fashion disasters, here are some Hollywood icons who suffered serious technique indiscretion this week.

Emma Watson

The actor is always one for doing her own thing when it comes to fashion and this time she decided to go for the weary soccer-mom look and she certainly nailed it. The Bling Ring star looked grungy and unkempt in a dilapidated plaid flannel top teamed with unsightly wide-legged culottes and not-so-cool ankle strap shoes. Looks like the talented A-lister needs a change of stylist, pronto.

Lily James

The upcoming Cinderella star strayed away from her fairytale-fashioned gowns and traded them in for a sloppy and dramatic Dolce & Gabbana lace design in a rich shade of crimson. The baggy and shoddy-looking dress appeared anything but extravagant. From the sleeves to the hemline, it just felt so wrong. However, the star’s discreet make-up and neat middle-parted hair looked ravishing.

Dakota Johnson

The Fifty Shades starlet attended the Paris Fashion Week looking like she was confused about whether she wanted to go for a ceremonial tuxedo or a cool jumpsuit. Though her jet ensemble offered a liberal peek at her toned shoulders, the fitted style didn’t quite outline her curves right. The forehead bangs didn’t quite work either to give the star a polished look.

Gwen Stefani

No offence to the animal but if zebras existed in space galaxies, this is what they would resemble. The ‘Baby Don’t Lie’ singer recently looked like she was wearing the constellation on her shirt along with space-like ill-fitted black pants, rounding off with a retro furry jacket in black and white stripes. I wish she had left the layering at home and kept it elegant and feminine in simple polka-dots instead.
