Public servants: ‘Solving residents’ problems is CBC’s top priority’

Khan added that they need to work harder to prove that their organisation is a symbol of public service

Solving basic problems of residents is the foremost priority of the Cantonment Board Clifton (CBC) and the organisation is making all efforts to do so, said CBC president Brigadier Farrukh Waseem Khan.


The station commander for Karachi was speaking at a meeting held on Friday in which chief executive officer Shahroom Safdar Khattak was also present. Congratulating him on winning the champions trophy at the recently organised flower show, Khan said that it was an honour for them.

Under his supervision, said Khan, the CBC was heading towards betterment due to which the residents were being provided better facilities, such as cleaner neighbourhoods, better streetlights, development work, well-maintained roads and refurbished parks, etc.

Khan added that they need to work harder to prove that their organisation is a symbol of public service. Khattak informed Khan that they try to solve the problems of the residents despite financial constraints. The success of flower show proved that the cooperation of the taxpayers of the CBC was with them, said Khattak, adding that they plan to provide better residential and medical facilities to their employees and also intend to establish more schools and colleges.
