JAMRUD:

The political administration with the help of security forces razed to the ground the house of a militant commander, Saddam Khan, who had allegedly acted as a facilitator in the Army Public School attack.

According to an official, the political administration of Khyber Agency had taken the members of traditional tribal Jirga into confidence before the operation.

The personnel of security forces cordoned off Saddam’s house in Goodar Janikhel in Jamrud sub division and demolished it with bulldozers.

Political Tehsildar Irshad Khan said that Saddam, wanted in multiple cases of terrorism, was recently killed during an encounter with the security forces.

Irshad Khan said that houses of the remaining militants will also be demolished. He added that Saddam was a facilitator in the APS rampage.
