Targeted attack? Saudi consulate employee escapes deadly attack

KARACHI:
An employee of the Saudi Arabian Consulate in Karachi escaped a deadly attack late on Wednesday when his car came under attack from unknown armed assailants.

The visa section officer of Saudi consulate, Tariq was travelling to Defence from his office on Shahrah-e-Faisal. He was on the Baloch Colony Flyover when unidentified armed men opened fire on his vehicle.


Two bullets struck his vehicle’s side, but Tariq remained unharmed in the incident.

Baloch Colony SHO Sohail Khan said that Tariq had not received any threat.

Police have started investigations into the incident. However, no case of the incident was registered.
