Consumers could send their complaints via email to ceodrappak@gmail.com.
KARACHI:
People should register their misgivings about the quality and cost of medicines in their use with the Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (Drap), its CEO Dr Muhammad Aslam advised on Tuesday evening. Talking to journalists during a reception, he said that aggrieved consumers could send their complaints via email to ceodrappak@gmail.com. Dr Aslam added that requests submitted by pharmaceutical manufacturers to Drap seeking to raise the price of their products will be settled within 90 days. “If Drap cannot address the request in 90 days, bonafide companies can increase the cost by eight per cent.” He clarified that all medicines must be within the purchasing capacity of the people without any compromise on quality.
