Population count: Decision on fresh census likely next week

KARACHI:
A decision on a fresh population census is likely during the upcoming meeting of the Council of Common Interests (CCI) scheduled for March 10, the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics said on Tuesday. While submitting its comments to the Sindh High Court, chief statistician Asif Bajwa said the PBS is willing to conduct a census but the matter is pending with the CCI.
