The committee formed by PML-N central leadership to end horse trading in Balochistan has failed to persuade its own member to withdraw an independent candidate nominated by him for the upcoming Senate elections. The committee headed by Khawaja Saad Rafiq has held several meetings with the leadership of coalition partners in the last two days. However, Balochistan Assembly Speaker Jan Mohammed Jamali has refused to withdraw the candidate, his daughter, from Senate elections.
