Building Ties: Austrian consulate inaugurated

KARACHI: The honorary consulate of the Republic of Austria was inaugurated at the residence of Raja Babar Tajammul, the newly appointed honorary Austrian consul, on Sunday.

“We have established this consulate here to strengthen economic and cultural relations between Pakistan and Austria,” said Dr Brigitta Blaha, the Austrian ambassador to Pakistan. She explained that Tajammul had been selected as the honorary consul since Austria did not have an office in the city.
