Senate passes Anti-Honour Killing bill into law
Bill amends Pakistan Penal Code, 1860 and Code of Criminal Procedure, 1898

The Senate on Monday passed four bills, including the Anti-Honour Killings Laws (Criminal Laws Amendment) Bill, 2014, Radio Pakistan reported.
The bill amends the Pakistan Penal Code, 1860 and the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1898, and was moved by Syeda Sughra Imam.

The Torture, Custodial Death and Custodial Rape (Prevention and Punishment) Bill, 2014 – moved by Farhatullah Babar -- provides for the prevention of and protection of Pakistani citizens, and of all other persons for the time being in Pakistan, from all acts of torture, custodial death and custodial rape.
The Anti-Rape Laws (Criminal Laws Amendment) Bill, 2014, which provides to amend the Pakistan Penal Code, 1860, the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1898 and the Qanoon-e-Shahadat Order, 1984, was moved by Syeda Sughra Imam.

The Privatisation Commission (Amendment) Bill, 2013, moved by Syeda Sughra Imam, amends the Privatisation Commission Ordinance, 2000.
