Admissions: SAU holds entry test

The varsity has five teaching faculties, two institutes and two affiliated colleges

HYDERABAD: As many as 2,188 candidates took the entry test on Sunday for admissions to Sindh Agriculture University (SAU) which is offering around 1,500 seats. The test was arranged at Public School, Latifabad. Less than 10 per cent of the candidates, standing at 177, were female. The varsity has five teaching faculties, two institutes and two affiliated colleges. The faculties are agricultural engineering, animal husbandry and veterinary sciences, crop production, crop protection and agricultural social sciences. The institutes are those of information technology and food sciences while the affiliated colleges are Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Agricultural College, Dokri, and Khairpur College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology.
