Roots Millennium Schools Chief Executive said the event’s purpose was to stimulate interactive learning among youth.

Over 1,000 students from across the country have gathered in the capital to take part in semi-academic and entertainment activities, said a press release on Saturday.

Millennium Olympiad 2015, organised by Roots College International (RCI) Millennium Campus, encourages students to analyse critically and think out of the box.

Roots Millennium Schools Chief Executive Faisal Mushtaq said the event’s purpose was to stimulate interactive learning among youth.

“Students have been provided numerous exciting opportunities to prove their abilities and think both critically and creatively,” he said.

Live entertainment, stand-up comedy, blistering music, beat-boxing and singing competitions are being held at the event, along with quiz, debate and chess competitions.
