Inter-school competition: Scrabble championship held
.
KARACHI:
Horlicks organised its 16th inter-school scrabble championship on February 22 at the Marriott hotel in Karachi. It was attended by over 1,000 students and their families, making it the largest gathering conducted by the Pakistan Scrabble Association and Horlicks. The two started this collaboration two years ago. “People have stopped giving attention to scrabble as a game and that makes the presence of this association very important as it can train children at a young age for international competitions,” said GSK consumer healthcare general manager Sohail Mateen. “We wish to extend our support for scrabble for a long time so that Pakistani children can benefit from it.”
