Second day of protest: ‘Sada Haq Aithay Rakh’ shout Shaikh Zayed Hospital’s paramedics
They were joined by members of the Young Doctors Association.

The government has allocated Rs8.5 billion to provide patients free medicines at public hospitals, yet Shaikh Zayed Hospital continues to charge patients for medicines, even at the Emergency Ward, Young Doctors of Shaikh Zayed Hospital said at a protest demonstration on Tuesday.
Scores of doctors marched out of the hospital building at around 12:30pm and blocked one lane for traffic. They carried placards and shouted slogans against the hospital administration. They were accompanied by the YDA Punjab president.
Meanwhile, the paramedics continued their strike the second day and did not perform duties at hospital’s outpatients department.
The paramedics shouted Saada Haq Aithay Rakh before ending the demonstration at around 2pm.
