One of the main executors of the December 16 Peshawar school attack, Taj Muhammad alias Rizwan, was arrested in an inteliigence-based operation on Monday.
According to the ISPR, Taj Muhammad was the commander of one of the two groups that attacked the Army Public School in Peshawar, in which over 150 people, including 133 students, were killed.
The other group was being led by Atique-ur-Rehman alias Usman who was already apprehended by the security forces.
The attack was claimed by the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
Taj Muhammad, 27, is a resident of Sippah, Koi Chowk, Bara, Khyber Agency. He was concealing his identity as an IDP in the Pawakai village of Peshawar.
The militant commander confessed he had been affiliated with the TTP since 2008, and had been involved in many other terrorist activities in North Waziristan and around Peshawar.
