8 electrocuted to death in Muzaffargarh
Deceased installing water motor, boring tube wells when power line fell
MUZAFFARGARH:
At least eight people were electrocuted to death when an electric wire broke and fell in Marah area of Muzaffargarh, Express News reported on Thursday.
The deceased were installing a water motor and boring tube wells when the incident took place.
On January 29, three Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) workers were also taken to a hospital in a critical condition after they received an electric shock.

FESCO spokesperson Tahir Sheikh had told The Express Tribune Muhammad Sarwar, Ahmad Sharif and Zafar Aziz were doing maintenance work at 132-KV Thikriwala grid station when the incident occurred.

Police said Sajid Hussain was fixing an electric pole when he apparently suffered an electric shock.
The police shifted the body to a local hospital before handing it over to the deceased’s family.
