Cricket quiz: Express continues to dole out prizes
.
ISLAMABAD:
Rawalpindi’s Muhammad Arif won a food factory on Tuesday by giving right answers to two questions regarding latest Pakistan-India match in the ICC World Cup. The prize was jointly offered by Express Media Group, McDonald’s Pakistan and Fast Marketing.
Express Media Group’s Associate Director Marketing Muneer Hussain handed him the prize. On the occasion, the winner Muhammad Arif thanked Express and McDonald’s and said the Express Media Group is one of its kind, whether it be highlighting public issues or promoting sports.
He said the nation has great expectations from Pakistan team, which, he hoped, will reach the top levels of the event. “I am proud to get a prize from Express. I think other organisations should also come forward to promote cricket fans,” he said.
Under ‘Josh Cricket World Cup Ka, Inam Express, McDonald’s Ka’ scheme, people will be given motorcycles, refrigerators, freezers, microwaves, LCDs, ACs and other prizes for answering three questions regarding Pakistan’s matches.
Under the scheme, answers of the questions – displayed before the matches – are forwarded through SMS. The winners’ names are then included in a lucky draw, whose results are published in Daily Express, The Express Tribune and Daily Sindh Express.
