Murder: Four awarded life imprisonment

An anti-terrorism court on Tuesday awarded life imprisonment on two counts

LAHORE: An anti-terrorism court on Tuesday awarded life imprisonment on two counts and 17 years imprisonment to four people for killing a man after he refused to pay them protection money. Naeem Ahmed, Umer Farooq, Ghulam Mohyuddin and Sohail had shot dead Abdul Wahid on February 21, 2014. They have been sentenced to jail under Sections 148 (rioting), 149 and 387 (extortion) of the Pakistan Penal Code and Section 7(h) of the Anti-Terrorism Act, 1997.
