Solidarity: Doctors go on two-hour strike
YDA president Ajmal Chaudary said the government should ensure safety of doctors.

Young Doctors Association on Monday observed a strike for three hours at outpatient wards of several hospitals against recent attacks on two senior doctors which left one dead and other critically injured.
They had announced the strike on Sunday saying that those responsible for killing Nishtar Medical College Assistant Professor Samiullah in Sahiwal and injuring Professor Shahid Nawaz of Pims in Islamabad should be arrested immediately. YDA president Ajmal Chaudary said the government should ensure safety of doctors. He said the Health Department had failed to beef up security around hospitals. He said the strike would continue until those behind the attacks were arrested.
