Shopkeepers fined over expired products

Idrees Randhwa has advised consumers to always check manufacturing and expiry dates before purchasing any product.

The District Consumer Protection Council (DCPC) has fined several bakeries and sweet shops for selling products sans manufacturing and expiry date. The shops included Moon Light Bakers, AS Hayyat Bakers, Gujrat Bakers, Bake and Bakers, Classic Baker and Sweet Shop on Service Road in Sadiqabad.    


The shop owners have also been directed to appear before the assistant commissioner to clarify the issue.
