The Higher Education Commission has granted Rs5 million for setting up a health management information system (HMIS) centre at Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences (LUMHS), Jamshoro. HEC chairperson Dr Mukhtar Ahmed announced the grant on Sunday after inaugurating the community health FM radio in the varsity’s faculty of community medicine and public health sciences. The faculty will also host the HMIS centre to be set up.
